Fonedash Shipping Policy


1. Shipping Coverage

Fonedash offers nationwide and international delivery using trusted third-party courier and logistics partners. We currently deliver across South Africa, selected African countries, and international destinations.

Fonedash does not operate its own courier fleet. All shipments are handled by independent courier and transport providers selected during checkout.


2. Courier Partners

Depending on your delivery location and selected shipping method, orders may be fulfilled by one or more of the following courier partners:

  • The Courier Guy

  • Aramex

  • DHL (International)

  • Gororsa Express (Botswana only)

  • Icypeed Logistics

  • Regional bus and cross-border logistics services

  • Local same-day runners (where available)

Courier availability varies by region and may change without prior notice.


3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are estimates and begin after order confirmation and dispatch.

Same day delivery is only offered to Sandton and Johannesburg surroundings.

  • Local (South Africa): 1–3 business days

  • Regional (Africa): 3–5 business days

  • International: 5–10 business days

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • Public holidays

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs inspections

  • Courier operational delays

  • Remote or outlying delivery areas

Fonedash does not guarantee delivery times.


4. Shipping Zones & Methods

South Africa

Available shipping and collection options include:

  • Free Shipping: 3–5 business days

  • Aramex Overnight

  • Aramex Standard: 3–6 business days

  • The Courier Guy: 1–3 business days

  • Store Pickup – Sandton (Illovo): Ready in ±3 hours

  • Store Pickup – Carlton Centre: Ready in ±1 hour

Store pickup is available during store operating hours only.


FD Africa Delivery

Countries covered:
Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, Namibia

Shipping options include:

  • Free Shipping: 2–5 business days

  • Gororsa Express (Botswana only): 3–5 business days

  • Aramex: 3–6 business days

  • Local Pickup – Send a Runner: Ready in ±2 hours (where applicable)


FD Zambia

Shipping options include:

  • Free Shipping: 2–5 business days

  • Jonda Bus: 3–6 business days

  • Joldan Bus: 3–6 business days

  • Likili Motorways Bus: 3–6 business days

  • Icypeed Logistics: 3–5 business days

  • Local Pickup – Send a Runner: Ready in ±2 hours


FD Zimbabwe

Shipping options include:

  • Free Shipping: 1–3 business days

  • Mzansi Express Bus: 1–2 business days

Rest of the World

For countries not listed above:

  • DHL International Shipping: Delivery times and pricing to be confirmed at checkout

International customers may be contacted for additional shipping or customs information before dispatch.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international and cross-border deliveries:

  • Customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees are not included in product or shipping prices unless stated otherwise.

  • These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Delays caused by customs authorities are beyond Fonedash’s control.


6. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

  • Once dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available.


7. Risk & Ownership Transfer

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the parcel is handed over to the courier or logistics provider.

From this point:

  • Fonedash is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or damage caused during transit.

  • Any claims must be raised directly with the courier.


8. Shipping Insurance

Customers are strongly encouraged to add shipping insurance at checkout.

Shipping insurance helps protect your order against:

  • Loss in transit

  • Theft

  • Physical damage

Orders shipped without insurance travel entirely at the customer’s risk.


9. Failed Deliveries & Incorrect Details

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, or refusal of delivery may result in:

    • Additional delivery fees

    • Delays

    • Order cancellation (where applicable)


10. Limitation of Liability

Fonedash shall not be held liable for:

  • Courier delays

  • Missed delivery deadlines

  • Loss or damage once goods leave our warehouse

  • Indirect or consequential losses resulting from shipping delays
